August 2019 Veterinarians (VetMed) Board Exam Results

UPDATE: 08/19/2019

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 516 out of 1,057 passed the Veterinarian Licensure Examination given by the Board of Veterinary Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao and Tuguegarao this August 2019.  The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

The members of the Board of Veterinary Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Ma. Elizabeth D. Callanta, Chairman; Dr. Mariano LL. Jovellanos and Dr. Maximino M. Montenegro, Members.

The results were released in one (1) day from the last day of examination.

Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Professional Regulatory Board of Veterinary Medicine administered the August 2018 Veterinarians Board Exam last August 14, 15 & 16, 2019 in selected schools from different testing centers in cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, and Tuguegarao.



To be a registered veterinarian, the exam taker must have obtained an average of at least seventy-five percent (75%) in all subjects, with no rating below fifty percent (50%) in any subject.


The three (3) days Veterinarians examination covered the following topics:

  • Veterinary Anatomy
  • Veterinary Physiology
  • Veterinary Parasitology
  • Veterinary Pathology
  • Veterinary Pharmacology
  • Zootechnics
  • Veterinary Microbiology and Public Health
  • Veterinary Medicine and Surgery


Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced soon, and it will be done online.   Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • Notice of Admission, duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal,
  • 2 pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag) and
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
