RESULT: January 2019 Architects Licensure Examination (ALE)

The result for January 2019 Architects Board Exam also known as January 2019 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) will be released online. Once it becomes available, the full list of passers, top 10 (top notchers), top performing and performance of schools are posted here.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) together with the Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture administered the architect examination on January 25 & 27, 2019 in testing centers located in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, and Zamboanga.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL PASSERS!!!

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,120 out of 1,990 passed the Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) given by the Board of Architecture headed by its Chairman, Arch. Robert S. Sac and board member, Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente.

The examination was held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi and Zamboanga last January 25 and 27, 2019. The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examination


RESULT SUMMARY


 DATE OF RELEASE

Based on the PRC Resolution No. 2018-1127 Series of 2018, entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for the Year 2019”, the target release date for the result of January 2019 Architects Board Exam will be on January 30, 2019(Wednesday). However, the result may be released earlier or later without prior notice.


EXAMINATION COVERAGE

The two (2) days Architecture examination covered the following topics:

  • History and Theory of Architecture Principles of Planning and Architecture Practice (30%),
  • Utilities Systems, Structural Conceptualization, Building Materials and Construction (30%)
  • Architectural Design and Site Planning (40%)

PREVIOUS EXAMS

June 2018

A total of 1,126 out of 1,955 passed the Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) given by the Board of Architecture headed by its Chairman, Arch. Robert S. Sac and board member, Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente. The examination was held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legazpi last January 26 and 28, 2018. See the full list of passers

January 2018

In the last examination, a total of 1,126 out of 1,955 passed the Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) given by the Board of Architecture headed by its Chairman, Arch. Robert S. Sac and board member, Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente. The examination was held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Legazpi last January 26 and 28, 2018. See the full list of passers.  

Mr. Marc Henrich Wee Eng Go is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) got the top score in the said examination with a score of 85.40. See the complete list of top 10 passers.

June 2017

A total of 1,490 out of 2,679 passed the Architect Licensure Examination (ALE). It was held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Legazpi last June 23 and 25, 2017. The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination. See the full list of passers

Alum of Saint Louis University (SLU) got the highest score in the said examination, he is Jefferson Sabiano Ventura with the score of 84.70, followed by a graduate of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and Bulacan State University (BSU). See the list of top 10 passers

PRC also declared University of Santo Tomas (UST) as the top performing schools for the June 2017 ALE. See the full detail

January 2017

With a total of 919 out of 1,595 examinees passed the Architects Board Exam. It was held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Legazpi last January 27 and 29, 2017. – See the full list of passers

University of Santo Tomas (UST) declared as the top performing school having 112 out of 137 board exam takers passed or 86.79% overall passing rate. – See more details

Graduates of University of the Philippines (UP – Diliman) dominated the architects’ exam. Luiz Marko Pantua Silang got the highest placed, scored 83.70%, followed by Robin Royce Yu Ibañez got 83.20 % and Justin Xaver Dy Guiab with 82.90% – See the full list of top ten passers
