November 2018 Midwifery Board Exam Results

(UPDATED 11/0/2018) MANILA, the Philippines – A total of 1,175 out of 2,478 successfully passed the Midwifery Board Examination officially released by the Professional Regulation Commission.
The “November 2018 Midwife Board Exam Result” also known as “Midwives Licensure Examination” is expected to be released online. Once it becomes available, the full details of the list of passers, top 10 (top notchers), top performing and performance of schools are posted here.

PRC together with the Professional Regulatory Board of Midwifery administered the midwife Board Exam on November 3-4, 2018 in the following testing centers in cities of Baguio, Manila, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

TARGET RELEASE DATE

Based on PRC Resolution No. 2017-1068 Series of 2017, entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for the Year 2018”, the target release date for the result for November 2018 Midwife Board Exam will be expected on November 7, 2018. However, the result may be released earlier or later without prior notice.

EXAMINATION COVERAGE

The two (2) days Midwifery examination covered the following topics: Obstetrics, Fundamental of health care, Infant care and feeding, Primary health care, and Professional growth and development.

The following are integrated with the mentioned subjects: Fundamental of Sociology, Principle of Bacteriology, General Anatomy and Physiology, General Psychology, Nutrition, Parasitology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology.


PREVIOUS EXAMS

  • April 2018

    A total of  846 out of 2,145 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.     Graduated from Cotabato Medical Foundation College, Dennis Michael Esteban Zequerra got the highest score in the said examination result with 91.75 scores. Followed by Ethel Cubilan Valones of University of the Philippines, School of Health & Sciences-Leyte got the second place, 90.95 rating scores. See the list of top 10 passers

    University of the Philippine School of Health & Sciences (UP-SHS-Leyte) declare as top performing schools by PRC in the midwifery examination with 90.80% passing rate. Check the full details of Top Performing & Performance of schools

  • October 2017

PRC confirmed that a total of 1,444 out of 3,360 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga this November 2017. The commission also said that “None are qualified” to be on the list of as top performing schools for that exam results. See the performance of the schools

A grad from Ilocos Sur Community College (ISCC) got the highest score in the said examination. He is Paul Mark Paz Pilar who successfully scored 88.80. Followed by alums of Masbate Colleges and Catanduanes State University (CSU-Virac) with 88.65 scores. See the list of top 10 passers
