The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) together with the Professional Regulatory Board of Master Plumbers administered the aforementioned examination last February 13 & 14, 2018 in selected testing center located in cities of Manila, Baguio and Iloilo.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 429 out of 1,064 passed the Master Plumber Licensure Examination given by the Board for Master Plumbers in Manila, Baguio and Iloilo this February 2018.
The members of the Board for Master Plumbers who gave the licensure examination are Engr. Valentino M. Mangila, Chairman; Engr.Pedrito D. Camilet, Jr. and Arch.Prospero A. Abellano, Members.
The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

To be a registered master plumber, the candidate must have obtained an average of at least seventy-five percent (75%) in all subjects, with no rating below fifty percent (50%) in any subject.
DATE OF RELEASE
The two (2) days master plumbers examination covered the following topics: Plumbing Arithmetic (10%); Sanitation, Plumbing Design and Installation (40%); Plumbing Code (10%); and Practical Problems (40%).
With a total of 798 out of 3,141 passed the Master Plumber Licensure Examination given by the Board for Master Plumbers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Tacloban this July 2017. Malayan Colleges – Laguna and University of the Philippines (UP – Diliman) declared as the top performing school in the said examination result. See the full details
Kim Aldrin Sarra Mejia, a pride alum of Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT-Manila) topped the master plumber board exam with garnering score of 82.20. He was followed by Richard San Luis Garcia of Technological University of the Philippines (TUP-Manila) and Jerod Bariquit Ravago of University of San Carlos (USC) with score of 81.60. From UP-Diliman graduate, Carlo Ray Rivera Selabao got the highest place for the February 2017 master plumber examination with the rating score of 83.40-percent. While Khyla Marielle Paguio Caldo of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in the second place with 83.00-percent and Alvin Cortez Tusi of Mapua Institute of technology – Manila in the third place with 82.60-percent. PRC declared Bicol University – Legazpi as top performing schools with a passing percentage of 85.71%.
