The ‘November 2017 Midwife Board Exam Result’ also known as ‘Midwives Licensure Examination’ is expected to be released online. Once it becomes available, the full details of the list of passers, top 10 (top notchers), top performing and performance of schools are posted here.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) together with the Professional Regulatory Board of Midwifery  administered the midwife Board Exam on November 4 & 5, 2017 in the following testing centers in cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Midwifery Exam Result November 2017 Midwives Board Passers

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,444 out of 3,360 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this November 2017. The results of examination with respect to forty-five (45) examinees were withheld, per Board Memorandum dated October 30, 2017.

The members of the Board of Midwifery who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Alejandro R. San Pedro, Chairman; Dr. Remy B. Dequiña, Dr. Josephine H. Hipolito, Dr. Lolita I. Dicang and Ms. Rhodora L. Lopez, Members.


RESULT SUMMARY


TARGET RELEASE DATE

Based on PRC Resolution No. 2016-1019 Series of 2016, entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for the Year 2017”, the target release date for the result of October 2017 Midwife Board Exam will be on November 8, 2017. However, the result may be released earlier or later without prior notice.

EXAMINATION COVERAGE

The two (2) days Midwifery examination covered the following topics: Obstetrics, Fundamental of health care, Infant care and feeding, Primary health care, and Professional growth and development.

The following are integrated with the mentioned subjects: Fundamental of Sociology, Principle of Bacteriology, General Anatomy and Physiology, General Psychology, Nutrition, Parasitology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology.


PREVIOUS EXAMS

  • April 2017

    A total of  965 out of 2,194 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last April 2017.     Graduated from Catanduanes State University (CSU-Virac), Kathryn Avery Antonio Aldave got the highest score in the said examination result with 91.45 scores. Followed by Donna Mae Bragais Imperial of Bicol University (BU-Tabaco) got the second place, 90.80 rating score. See the list of top 10 passers

    University of the Philippine School of Health & Sciences (UP-SHS-Leyte) declare as top performing schools by PRC in the midwifery examination with 96.30% passing rate. While Camarines Sur Polytechnic College (CSPC-Nabua) in the second (2nd) placed with the rating score of 92.06%. Check the full details of Top Performing & Performance of schools

  • November 2016

    Last November 2016 examination, with a total of 1,572 out of 3,085 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

    A grad of Estenias Science Foundation School – Casiguran, Sorsogon, who got the highest placed in the said examination, she is Maribel Doroja Sabenia with garnered the score of 90.10%. Followed by Jona Rose Carolino Dela Rosa of Great Plebeian College with 89.30% while in the third place is Joanne Nava Fuerte of Isabela State University – Ilagan with a score of 89.20%.

    The commission also said that “None are qualified” to be on the list of as top performing schools for that exam results.

  • April 2016

    PRC stated that a total of 1,055 out of 2,145 examinees passed the midwives board exam. It was held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga last April 2016.

    Camarines Sur Polytechnic College – Nabua was declared as top performing school having 59 out of 64 board exam takers passed or 92.19% overall passing rate.

    Marilou Jumalon Montefalcon, a pride alum of Christ the King College – Gingoog City topped the midwife board exam with garnering 90.50% rating. She was followed by Mary Reciel Danice Sinforoso Bernarte from Bicol University – Tabaco with 90.00% and Deanna Corinne Enano Serrano from Bicol University – Legazpi, 89.60%.
