PRC Main, Philippines – The results in the ‘September 2017 Teachers Board Exam’ also known as ‘Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)’ for Elementary & Secondary levels are expected to release online. Once the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) posted the results, the full list of passers, top 10 (top notchers), top performing and performance of schools will post here.
PRC and the Board of Professional Teachers(BPT) conducted the Teachers Board Exam for elementary and secondary levels last September 24, 2017, on selected schools from Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Boac, Marinduque; Cagayan de Oro, Canlapan, Oriental Mindoro; Catarman, Northern Samar; Cebu, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Kidapawan, Cotabato; Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro; Masbate, Odiongan, Romblon; Pagadian, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan; Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Virac, Catanduanes; Zamboanga and two international testing center located in, Bangkok, Thailand and Hong Kong.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL LET PASSERS!!!
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces that 21,198elementary teachers out of 80,509 examinees (26.33%) and 49,626 secondary teachers out of 107,020 examinees (46.37%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last September 24, 2017 in 27 testing centers all over the Philippines, Hong Kong and Thailand. It is further announced that of the 21,198 elementary teacher passers, 19,581 are first timers and 1,617 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 41,180 passers are first timers and 8,446 are repeaters.
The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.
The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be from December 4 to December 8, 2017 for Elementary Level and December 11 to December 22, 2017 for Secondary Level. The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: 1) Notice of Admission; 2) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 3) two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag); 4) two sets of documentary stamps; 5) 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
You may also register at the PRC Service Centers in Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Galleria, and in Clark Skills Training Center (formerly Polytechnic College, Clark, Pampanga).
Likewise, the following campuses shall also serve as venues for initial registration from December 4 to December 15, 2017: Arellano University – College of Education in Sampaloc, Manila; University of Santo Tomas – College of Education in España, Manila; Technological Institute of the Philippines – College of Education in Quezon City; Philippine Normal University – College of Education in Manila.
The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

DATE OF RELEASE
Based on PRC Resolution No. 2016-1019 Series of 2016, entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for the Year 2017”, the target release date for the result of September 2017 LET Teachers Board Exam will be on November 27, 2017 (Monday). However, the result may be released earlier or later without prior notice.
One (1) day teachers examination covered the following topics:
- Coverage of Examination for General Education
- Coverage of Examination for Professional Education (Elementary & Secondary Teachers Examinees
- Coverage of Examination in the Fields of Specialization for Secondary Teacher Examinees Only
To pass the examination, examinees must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.
On the first set of LET for 2017, with a total 5,600 elementary teachers out of 53,915 examinees (10.39%) and 18,482 secondary teachers out of 72,584 examinees (25.46%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last March 26, 2017, in 18 testing centers all over the Philippines.
It is further announced that of the 5,600 elementary teacher passers, 2,871 are first timers and 2,729 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 10,804 passers are first timers and 7,678 are repeaters. See the full list of LET passers
PRC declared University of the Philippines (UP-Diliman) as top performing schools for LET for Secondary level with passing rate of 92.54% with total passed of 62 out of 67 examinees. While for Elementary level, none schools are qualified. See the full list of top performing and performance of schools
Graduated from De La Salle University (DLSU-Manila) got the highest score for LET for Elementary Level, She is Samantha Christel Chua Gaerlan with a banged score of 90.60. Marian Kaye Fortinez Gallego, grad of University of Mindanao (UM- Davao City) led the passers in the LET Secondary Level with 92.80 scores. While Acejan Lascuña Jadie of DLSU-Dasmariñas in second placed got the 92.60. See the full list of Top 10 passers for Secondary Level
The result was released forty (40) working days from the last day of examination.
A total of 23,378 elementary teachers out of 77,466 examinees ((30.18%)) and 31,334 secondary teachers out of 92,754 examinees (33.78%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last September 25, 2016, in Hongkong and 25 testing centers all over the Philippines.
In 23,378 elementary teacher passers, 21,896 are first timers and 1,482 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 28,957 passers are first timers and 2,377 are repeaters.
Result was released forty-eight (48) working days from the last day of examination
University of Santo Tomas (UST) declared as the top performing school for elementary level having 133 out of 136 board exam takers passed or 97.79% overall passing rate. While University of the Philippines (UP-Diliman) for secondary level, 92 out of 95 are passed with passing rate of 96.84%.
A tie passers got the highest placing for elementary level, He is Mark Penuliar Castillo of Tarlac State University (TSU) and Lady Princess Sanguyo Marcelo of UP-Diliman with garnered score 88.00% rating. Also a grad of TSU top for secondary level, he is Richard Cabuay Macapulay 90.00%.
