The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) together with Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers will administer the Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) for September 2017 Teachers LET Board Exam (Elementary & Secondary Levels) in Bangkok, Thailand for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).

SPLE for Teachers LET will take place on September 24, 2017, in testing centers located in Bangkok, Thailand

Deadline for Filing of Application through the Online Application System (OAS) is until August 14, 2017.


  1. Applicants shall apply online via this LINK.

  2. Applicants or any authorized representative shall pay examination fees at the Cashier at the PRC Central Office or any Regional Office. Present proof of successful application (see sample). The amount shall be the Peso equivalent of the USD 40 based on the exchange rate of the previous day preceding the day of payment as determined by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

  3. After completing the online transaction the applicants shall submit the printed and signed Application Form together with photocopies of documents as identified below. Deadline for submission is on Sunday, August 20, 2017, to:

  4. The Embassy will accept the printed and signed application form together with the photocopy of the official receipt (O.R.) and the documentary requirements up to August 20, 2017 only. Original copies of the above mentioned documentary requirements shall be presented to the PRC Examination Team for validation upon arrival at the examination venues.

  5. The Embassy will pre-qualify the applicants and pre-evaluate the documents submitted. The Embassy will then be required to submit the name list and documents of the following to PRC by August 28, 2017.
  6. The list of pre-qualified applicants for Elementary Level should be separated from those for the Secondary Level. The list for the Secondary Level must indicate the Major Subject of Specialization to be taken by the examinee.

  7. The list of conditionally-approved applicants shall be posted at the PRC Website or on this site and shall be forwarded to the testing center.


  • Photocopy of Transcript of Records (with or without scanned picture and remarks “For Board Examination Purpose Only”)
  • Photocopy of Valid Passport
  • Two (2) passport size pictures with complete name tag and white background.

The originals of the above documents shall be presented to the PRC Examination Team for validation upon their arrival at their respective venue of assignment.

All registered examinees must bring their original documents for final evaluation and four (4) pieces passport size pictures with a name tag. Notice of Admission will be issued at the POLO/testing centers.

Also, examinees shall bring the following requirements on examination day. Two or more pencils No. 1 or 2/ Black ink ball pen, long brown and plastic/transparent envelopes and Non-programmable calculators.

Do not bring the following inside the examination rooms/premises: Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/ information/formula; Programmable calculators; Mobile phone, beepers, portable computers or similar gadgets/devices; Bags of any kind (ladies bag, shoulder bag, attache case, backpack, etc.); other examination aides not stated in the program.

Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination rooms, borrow anything or communicate with one another on any subject matter. Every candidate is required to bring food (placed inside transparent/plastic bags) inside during the examination. Food of any kind carried by any person intended for the candidate during the examination is not allowed.


To be registered professional teachers, the candidate must have obtained an average of at least seventy-five percent (75%) in all subjects, with no rating below fifty percent (50%) in any subject.
