The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 478 out of 1,210 passed the Master Plumber Licensure Examination given by the Board for Master Plumbers in Manila, Baguio and Iloilo this February 2017.

The two (2) days master plumbers examination covered the following topics: Plumbing Arithmetic (10%); Sanitation, Plumbing Design and Installation (40%); Plumbing Code (10%); and Practical Problems (40%).
With a total of 884 out of 2,545 examinees passed the master plumber board exam. It was held in cities of Manila, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi last July 2016.
University of the Philippines (UP – Mindanao) declared as the top performing school having 8 out of 9 board exam takers passed or 88.89% overall passing rate.
Feliciano Maddawin Galupo Jr., a pride alum of Isabela State University – Ilagan topped the master plumber board exam with garnering 83.80% rating. He was followed by Jerome Dioquino Balanoyos from Bicol University Industrial Technology (Bucit) – Legazpi with 82.60% and Marcus Ceazar Villavicencio Austria of Cavite State University (Don Severino Agricultural College), 82.10%.
