EXAM RESULT September 2016 LET Teachers Board Exams

Elementary | Secondary

A total of 23,378 elementary teachers out of 77,466 examinees (30.18%) and 31,334 secondary teachers out of 92,754 examinees (33.78%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last September 25, 2016 in Hong Kong and 25 testing centers all over the Philippines. It is further announced that of the 23,378 elementary teacher passers, 21,896 are first timers and 1,482 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 28,957 passers are first timers and 2,377 are repeaters.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board of Professional Teachers(BPT) conducted the Teachers Board Exam for elementary and secondary levels last September 25, 2016 in Hong Kong and 25 testing centers all over the Philippines.

DATE OF RELEASE

Based on PRC Resolution No. 2015-948 Series of 2015, entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2016”, the target release date for the result of September 2016 LET Teachers Board Exam will be on November 29, 2016 (Tuesday). However, the result may be released earlier or later without prior notice.

BOARD MEMBERS

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

PREVIOUS EXAMS

PRC and the BPT announced that 12,128 elementary teachers out of 42,739 examinees (28.38%) and 18,810 secondary teachers out of 53,090 examinees (35.43%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last March 20, 2016 in twenty testing centers all over the Philippines.

The result was released forty-one (41) working days from the last day of examination

University of the Philippines (UP – Diliman) declared as the top performing school for secondary level having 57 out of 61 board exam takers passed or 93.44% overall passing rate. But for elementary level none are qualified.

Rowena Miano Hingpit, a pride alum of University of Mindanao – Davao topped the LET for elementary level with garnering 90.00% rating. She was followed by Robelyn Sarsoza Deocampo with 90.20% and Ma. Arizza Rivera Ferreras, 90.00%. Both of them are graduates of UP-Diliman.
