The said teacher exams was given by the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) and held last March 29, 2015 in different testing centers nationwide: Antique, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Catarman, Catanduanes, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Manila, Pagadian, Sulu, Tacloban, Tawi-Tawi, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga City.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces that 12,103 elementary teachers out of 44,144 examinees (27.42%) and 17,904 secondary teachers out of 56,596 examinees (31.63%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last March 29, 2015 in Singapore and 17 testing centers all over the Philippines. It is further announced that of the 12,103 elementary teacher passers, 5,607 are first timers and 6,496 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 11,770 passers are first timers and 6,134 are repeaters.
The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.
The results of examination with respect to eleven (11) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.
Previous LET Exam Results
Last August 2014, The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) was announced that 25,301 elementary teachers out of 70,786 examinees (35.74%) and 26,767 secondary teachers out of 77,803 examinees (34.40%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last August 17, 2014 in Hong Kong and 24 testing centers all over the Philippines.
PRC also stated that of the 25,301 elementary teacher passers, 21,649 are first timers and 3,652 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 23,820 passers are first timers and 2,947 are repeaters.
The results of examination with respect to six (6) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.
Noralyn Fernandez Sacoco grad of Data Center College of the Philippines (DCCP – Laoag) leads the Elementary Level with rating score of 89.40% and Bayani Niñel Escoton alumni of University of Southeastern Philippines (USP – Tagum) ranked in second placed, with 89.20% and Quennie Klaire Avila Elli of University of Saint La Salle with 88.80% as third placer.
Pride of Philippine Normal University (PNU – Cadiz City) Nixon Somblingo Balandra got the highest placed in Secondary Level, with garnered score of 90.20%, followed by Jose Dante Valenzuela Dela Merced of New Era University (90.00% and Jemer ANdoyo Alimbon grad of University of Mindanao (UM – Tagum) with 89.80%.
University of the Philippines (UP – Diliman) declared as top performing schools in secondary level with passing percentage of 93.06% and University of Santo Tomas (UST) with passing rate of 98.75% for elementary level.
