The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 884 out of 1,886 Registered Electrical Engineers and 1,134 out of 2,705 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena this April 2015.
The members of the Board of Electrical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Francis V. Mapile, Officer-In-Charge and Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, Member. The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examinations.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on May 11, 2015 for R. M. E. and May 12 & 13, 2015 for R.E.E. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2015-2018 for REGISTERED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER; Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2015- 2018 for REGISTERED MASTER ELECTRICIAN. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
The said examination was held in cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena on April 26 & 27, 2015 for REE and April 28, 2015 for RME given by the Board of Electrical Engineering.
The results are expected to be release within three (3) working days after the last day of examinations.
Last September 2014 examination, PRC announced that 2,190 out of 3,661 Registered Electrical Engineers and 972 out of 2,964 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Zamboanga.
Grad of Saint Louis University topped the September 2014 REE examination results by the name of Victor Al Sapotin Medina with garnered score of 91.85% followed by Kenneth Rivera Lazo of De La Salle University – Dasmariñas with 90.95%. and Peter Filemon Ramos Fabricante of University of the Philippines – Diliman as third placer, scored 90.45%
While Gift Joy Huab Dugayo of Sorsogon State College – Sorsogon lead the passers in RME board exam with garnered score of 88.00% followed by Alvin Carmen Escaño of Eulogio (Amang) Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology scored 87.50% and James Patrick Serrano Madrid of Divine Word College of Legazpi in third placed with 87.00% .
Batangas State University – Batangas City (PBMIT) declared by PRC as the top performing schools for REE and followed by University of Santo Tomas.
