Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the results for August 2014 Physical Therapist (PT) and Occupational Therapist (OT) Board Exam also known as August 2014 Physical and Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination.
The said examination was held last August 2 – 3, 2014 in Manila and Cebu testing centers given by the Regulatory Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 511 out of 874 passed the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination and 93 out of 163 passed the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy in the cities of Manila and Cebu this August 2014. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld, until necessary documents have been properly reconstituted and submitted to the Commission.
The members of the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy who gave the licensure examinations are Pollyana G. Escano, Chairman; Raul G. Agustin, Bernadette M. Reyes, Delia R. Pabalan and Rolland Lyle D. Duque, Members.
The results were released in two (2) working days from the last day of examinations.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on August 14 & 15, 2014. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2014-2017. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
The previous PT and OT examinations, PRC announced that 370 out of 711 passed the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination and 25 out of 88 passed the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination in the cities of Manila and Cebu last February 2014.
Roman Muñoz Dizon alumni of Angeles University Foundation (AUF) topped the Physical Therapists board exam with 85.15 rating. While University of the Philippines – Manila and University of the East Ramon Magasysay Memorial Medical Center declared as top performing schools with 100% passing rate.
