The said midwives examination was held in cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last April 27 & 28, 2014.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,093 out of 2,365 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last April 2014.
The members of the Board of Midwifery who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Alejandro R. San Pedro, Chairman; Dr. Remy B. Dequiña, Dr. Josephine H. Hipolito, Ms. Lolita I. Dicang and Ms. Rhodora L. Lopez, Members.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on May 12 to May 14, 2014. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2014-2017. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
Last November 2013 Midwives Board Exam only 1,336 out of 2,902 passed the Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
Graduate of New Lucena Polytechnic College, Carla Grace Cataloctocan Garcia lead the November 2014 Midwifery Licensure Examination with rated score of 88.60%. Jellie Jane Rabida Vargas got the second (2nd) places, she is from Catanduanes State University – Virac, with 88.40% and in third (3rd) ranked is Helen Joy Painaga Rubino scored 88.15%, she is from Advance Central College – San Jose.
While University of the Philippine School of Health & Sciences – Leyte as the top performing schools with passing rate of 89.47% .
