The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 574 out of 1,648 Registered Electrical Engineers and 871 out of 1,973 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena this February 2014.

The members of the Board of Electrical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza and Engr. Francis V. Mapile.

The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examinations.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on March 10, 2014 but not later than March 12, 2014. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2014-2017 for REGISTERED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER; Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2014-2017 for REGISTERED MASTER ELECTRICIAN. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The said examination held in cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi and Lucena on February 23 & 24, 2014 for REE and February 25, 2014 for RME given by the Board of Electrical Engineering.

The results are expected to be release within three (3) working days after the last day of examinations.

Last September 2013 examination only 1,643 out of 3,063 Registered Electrical Engineers and 1,030 out of 2,126 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Zamboanga.

The members of the Board of Electrical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Fortunato C. Leynes, Chairman; Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza and Engr. Francis V. Mapile, Members.

Graduated from Sorsogon State College – Sorsogon lead the Electrical Engineers Board Exam passers, no other than Charles Japeth Antones Dichoso with rating score of 91.40%. Remember he is also the top one(1) in last September 2012 Registered Master Electricians Board Exam passers.

While Christian Dayao Calonzo got the second (2nd) highest placed with 91.30% from Bulacan State University (For.BCAT) – Malolos and  Dennis Falco Marigon of Notre Dame of Marbel University in third placed (3rd), 91.25%.

Jimboy Villarin Dela Cruz from a Vocational School got the highest rank in Registered Master Electricians (RME) Board Exam with 89.50% followed by Erwin Villorejo Gonzaga of Bohol Island State University (For. CVSCAFT) – Calape with 89.00% rating score.

Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, University of Batagas and University of the Philippines – Los Baños got the top performing schools it means that schools with 15 or more examinees passed at least with 80% passing percentage. [Source]

April 2013 board exam, only 644 out of 1,666 Registered Electrical Engineers and 773 out of 1,875 Registered Master Electricians has successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Legazpi testing centers.

A proud alumni of University of San Carlos topped the April 2013 Registered Electrical Engineers Board Exam, Houdinzon Soco Celiz with scored of 88.50%. while  Kevin Dejarlo Destreza got the second highest places scored 86.90%. from Sorsogon State College – Sorsogon and in rank three (3) is Rodney Suzarez Fausto with 86.70%, from Mapua Institute of Technology – Manila.

University of the Philippines – Los Baños and University of Batangas declared as the top performing schools for April 2012 REE results.

Carlo Panagiran, graduate of Bicol University – Legazpi got the highest places in the RME board exam scored of 87.50%, second placed are Kathleen Mae Solano Ariate from Sorsogon State College – Sorsogon Chris Oliver Marcelo Coronado of Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City with 85.50% rating score.[Source]
