prc-logo-philippinesThe Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) release the results of November 2013 Midwives Licensure Examinations also known as November 2013 Midwifery Board Exam.

The said midwives examination was held in cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on November 16 & 17, 2013.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,336 out of 2,902 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this November 2013.

The members of the Board of Midwifery who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Alejandro R. San Pedro, Chairman; Dr. Remy B. Dequiña, Dr. Josephine H. Hipolito, Ms. Lolita I. Dicang and Ms. Rhodora L. Lopez, Members.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on November 26 to November 27, 2013. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2013-2016. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The first midwifery examination of 2013, only 1,173 out of 2,323 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last April 2013.

Graduate of Bicol University – Legazpi, Benedict Rey Montas Serrano lead the April 2013 Midwifery Licensure Examination with rated score of 89.70%. Daisy May Broce Secretaria got the second (2nd) places, she is from  Cebu School of Midwifery, with 89.65% and in third (3rd) ranked is Ma Jella Mirabel Turallo scored 89.20%, she is also from Bicol University – Legazpi.

While Camarines Sur Polytechnic College – Nabua as the top perfoming schools with passing rate of 91.55% and Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery in ranked two (2) with 85.25%.

Same period of last year, 1,732 out of 3,481 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this November 2012. 

May Abigail Mondala Miranda graduate of Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation got the highest score in the latest results of November 2013 Midwives Licensure Examination, scored 88.55%. While Precious Dela Raga of Southland College got the second places, with rated score of 88.00%. and Lani Cervantes  Sarmiento of Olivarez College – Parañaque positioned in third place with rating scored of 87.45%. While, PLT College, Inc. declared by PRC as top performing  schools with passing rate of 83.02

.The result of November 2012 midwives board exam was released after four (4) working days.
