The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces that 19,384 elementary teachers out of 62,160 examinees (31.18%) and 25,755 secondary teachers out of 64,792 examinees (39.75 %) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last September 29, 2013 in 17 testing centers all over the Philippines.
The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.
The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was with held pending final determination of his liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on December 6, 2013. The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: 1) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 2) latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); 3) 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag); 4) metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and 5) the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016. Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The results are expected to released within thirty (30) to forty (40) working days after the last day of examinations.
PRC stated that 128,083 examinees took the LET last September 29, 2013 in 17 different testing centers nationwide: Manila, Baguio, Batanes, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Masbate, Pagadian, Palawan, Romblon, Rosales, Pangasinan, Tacloban and Tuguegarao.
The PRC said that bulk of LET takers comes from the National Capital Region with an estimated 29,151 examinees followed by Davao with 12,815 examinees.
In PRC Baguio Regional Office supervised a total of twelve thousand three hundred thirty-nine (12,339) took the LET in three (3) areas. Administered to seven thousand one hundred eighty-nine (7,189) in Baguio, one thousand two hundred fifty-eight (1,258) in Laoag, and three thousand eight hundred ninety-two (3,892) in Rosales, the LET is the biggest licensure examinations coordinated by the Baguio Regional Office.
Reset LET Exam
Board Licensure Examination for Teachers in Zamboanga City, Jolo Sulu and Tawi-Tawi was recently reset to January 26, 2014 due to the limited access to air and sea transportation’s brought about by the ongoing armed hostilities in Zamboanga City as well as considerations on the safety and security of the examinees and examination personnel.

LET of March 2013
In March 2013, 10,310 elementary teachers out of 37,117 examinees (27.78%) and 15,223 secondary teachers out of 38,433 examinees (39.61%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last March 10, 2013 in 14 testing centers all over the Philippines and Hong Kong. Thirty (30) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.
Aileen Ventilnilla Dacasin leads the Elementary Level with rating score of 89.80% and followed by Mae Gabrielle de Chavez Gabrieles ranked in second place, with 88.00% rating score,Both of them are graduates of University of the Philippines – Diliman.
Pride of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), Percival Byron Salazar Bueser got the highest placed in Secondary Level, with score of 94.00% and followed by Conrado Trinidad Sotelo of Manila Tytana Colleges, Inc (for Manila Doctors College) garnered of 92.00%.
Only Talisay City College (TCC) declared and qualified as top performing schools in elementary level with passing percentage of 90.42% and University of the Philippines (UP)- Diliman performed 95.00% in secondary level.

LET of September 2012
The same period of last year, only 25,136 Elementary Teachers out of 50,997 examinees (49.29%) and 20,834 Secondary Teachers out of 47,892 examinees (43.50%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last September 30, 2012 in 22 testing centers all over the Philippines. Twenty (20) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.
Cristie Lou Mabalot Carillo and Ian Ceasar Borbon Sipe of Notre Dame of Marbel University leads the Elementary Level with rating score of 88.60% and followed by Margielyn Eunice Dorcas Peñalosa Mamac got the second placed, scored 88.00%, she is graduate from University of Southern Mindanao – Kabacan.
While Jess Roel Quiñanola Pesole of University of San Carlos topped the LET exam – Secondary Level, scored 89.00% and followed by Mia Magdalena Fokno Longid of Saint Louis University garnered 88.80%.
West Visayas State University (WVSU) – La Paz declared as top performing schools in elementary level with passing percentage of 99.46% and University of Santo Tomas for secondary level with passing percentage of 96.39%.
