prc-logo-philippines The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results of September 2013 Mechanical Engineers (ME) & Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) Licensure Examinations.

The said examination is also known as September 2013 Mechanical Engineers & Certified Plant Mechanics Board Exam held in cities of Manila, Cebu and Davao on September 22 & 23, 2013.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,201 out of 3,196 passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination and 30 out of 62 passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination and 44 passed the Technical Evaluation for the Upgrading as Professional Mechanical Engineer given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering in Manila, Cebu and Davao this September 2013.

The members of the Board of Mechanical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Leandro A. Conti, Chairman and Engr. Vicente B. Vosotros, Member.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examinations.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on October 3 and 4, 2013. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016 for MECHANICAL ENGINEER; Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2013-2016 for CERTIFIED PLANT MECHANIC. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The results are expected to released within six (6) working days after the last day of examinations.

The same period of 2012, Only 2,026 out of 2,900 passed the Mechanical Engineers Licensure Exam, 21 out of 50 passed the Certified Plant Mechanics Board Exam and 16 passed the Technical Evaluation for the Upgrading as Professional Mechanical Engineering in Manila and Cebu. 

Kenneth Tejadilla Del Rosario from Technological University of the Philippines – Manila (TUP) leads the September 2012 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination scored 94.65%. While Darylle Consulta Dacillo of Bicol University – Legazpi got the second places, rated score of 94.35%.

PRC also stated that Batangas State University (BSU) – Batangas CIty (PBMIT) declared as top performing schools with 97.73% passing rate and followed by Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) – Main – Sta. Mesa with 91.04%.
