PRC Re-sched August 2013 Veterinary Medicine Board Exam to September 2013

prc-logo-philippines The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the resetting of the Licensure Examination for Veterinary Medicine to September 18, 19 and 20, Officially posted by the PRC on their website dated August 20, 2013.

The PRC made the announcement after it decided to postpone the examination originally scheduled on August 20, 21 and 22, 2013 in Manila and Cagayan de Oro City.

The PRC had earlier stated that the postponement of the board examination was made with due consideration of the safety of examinees and examination personnel particularly because of widespread flooding in Metro Manila, which rendered routes leading to the examination site at the Manuel L. Quezon University in Quiapo, Manila inaccessible and impassable. The examination scheduled on the same day in Cagayan de Oro City was also postponed.

This announcement was signed by Ma. Elizabeth D. Callanta, Chairman of the Board of Veterinary Medicine, Maximino M. Montenegro and Mariano LL, Jovellanos, Member of the Board of Veterinary Medicine and approved by Teresita R. Manzala, PRC Chairperson.
